RJS-E

Wrap‑around heat‑shrink sleeve for sealing the joint casings of pre‑insulated district heating pipes. A cross‑linked HDPE backing (PE‑X) and a dual adhesive: a high‑shear hot‑melt at the edges anchors the sleeve against ground movement, and a visco‑elastic sealant in the centre forms the actual moisture seal. A dimpled Permanent Change Indicator on the backing disappears once the correct shrink temperature is reached, so a finished joint can be inspected afterwards.

RJS-E heat-shrink sleeve, longitudinal section through a field jointSection through a field joint. A steel carrier pipe at the bottom, PUR insulation and a PE casing above it. The heat-shrink sleeve is wrapped over the joint, with a cross-linked polyethylene backing. Two different adhesives sit on its underside: a hot-melt along both edges and a visco-elastic mastic down the centre.Joint12345KMP-0001

Closure patch for Covalence wrap‑around heat‑shrink sleeves.

Heat‑applied closure patch that seals the foam‑injection hole in a pre‑insulated pipe casing after PUR foaming, keeping water out of the insulation.

End cap for the terminations of a pre‑insulated pipeline: a shrink component that closes the casing end and keeps water out of the insulation where the line ends or breaks.

Alongside the standard range runs a set of specialty products that are asked for less often but have their own place.
